Ok, There was about twenty trucks total for Saturday. Dave took one group and ran blueberry to sleepy hollow something along those lines.

I took the other group and ran up valley down doe to the spring to rock swamp out logging trail or lucky to horseshoe and back to valley and out. While on valley I get a phone call from Greg on the other trails about a broken chevy pickup with them (fishebones friend). Ok pull them off the trail (can't burnt out 8000 pound winch and can't tug him anymore) So I took two other tacos and run turtle down to Squirel (don't know if you ever ran it, but there is a reason it is done only ONE WAY. We strapped the sliders/tow hitch on all three on the hard part climbed down and around to sleepy hollow (think that is the correct trail they were stuck on) Get there and here we need a full size truck what are you going to do, blah, blah blah. Kyle got there shortly after us. Finally decide to pull again. Kyle yanks the truck back to get it around the turn and tree and Marsahal with broken axle shaft and 3wd starts pulling and just ripping as the truck is with out drivetrain. Gets it down the first rock and notice underneath as something is hanging real low now.

Get under and try ratchet strapping t-case then just disconnected the rear drive shaft and the t-case is now out (notice JUST rear drive shaft). Marshall pulls some more to real hard part. My cable is already out to pull the 6000 pound truck. Good thing I got the 9500 pounder. Snatch block to get him closer to one side and then just start pulling about 100 feet or so through the tough stuff. Marshall takes over again and pulls up to Haul road (not easy to have Taco tow full size through some of that.

I take over on Haul road and go all the way out to Bonner's pass (illeagal part of the park but OKed by PAP managment) What a STRANGE area out there if you have never been that way. Like a little town out there icon_eek.gif The Chevy guy was calling our trucks Tinker Toys, did he eat his words around the fire that night. He took it all in stride, guess he didn't see the bed where he icon_rolleyes.gif kissed icon_rolleyes.gif the tree while being yanked. No problem it is an 82.

I like the look on everyones faces watching my Taco pull one of there heroes (American truck, not particular person). Had a crazy kid in a cherokee with 6 inches of lift and 31s open front and rear do drumstick (I wasn't there for that, I was out on rescue mission) so i was not responsible for that.

Will banged up his door a little on Saturday.

sunday we get a LATE start from the campground about 5 other people went out before us and we are to far apart to meet up so the New England nuts want MUD so I obliged (lots of rain equals nice mud) so I brought them to the mud pit before rubicon lake and let them play in there from 11 to 1 or so. They made the hole that drowned the Cherokee look like a puddle and were playing in that one and the big one next to it which became a real nice mess.

I just sat and watched and waited for carnage. Two clogged radiators, countless air filters with chocolate milkshakes in the airboxes, probablely lose an alt or two from that. One kid did a belly flop/slipped into the mud hole while stuck. Lots of wet distributors (yes 95.5 Tacos have them) and my winch cable got muddy. Just wait to see the one truck. Some great pictures came from that.

Headed and played around Rubicon lake for a little while (first time there pretty neat over there) and headed out around 2:30 or so.

I'll try to gather up all the picture links and get them posted. Should be quite a few. It was a great time should have been there for the at least the camping and drinking.
